The University is actively working to evolve an integrated healing system by the synergetic convergence Of strengths Of all the available pharmacological and Non-pharmacological healing models. This is an up-heel task to work on intervention of drugs, energy, procedures, metabolic substances and body elements so as to develop individualized health map for detecting any ailment at its early stage enabling one to prevent oneself from any ailment, The Centre is also conducting a project on Tribal Healing.
The University desires to invite knowledge and wisdom from all ten directions and provide a suitable platform to the scholars and researchers for healthy interaction among south and South-East Asian countries and facilitate cross pollination of ideas and foster harmony among various civilizations of the world. With an aim to meet this objective, the School of Sanatana Dharma and Indic Studies will move forward in the current paradigm adding values to all the aspects of knowledge, practice and wisdom for the benefit of everyone and to promote academic and research activities in the vibrant domain of Sanatana Dharma and Indic Studies. The School offers M. A., M. Phil. and Ph. D. Programmes in Indian Philosophy, M. A./M.Sc. in Yogic Science and M. Phil. and Ph. D. Programmes in Yoga and M. A., M. Phil., Ph. D., Certificate Course and Diploma Course in Indian Education and Holistic Development. The School has four centres viz Centre for Alternative Education, Centre for Social and Natural Sciences, Centre for Integrated Healing and Centre for Science and Spirituality. (i) Centre for Alternative Learning
Amidst discussions on the limitationsof existing framework of education system, the University is seamlessly working on exploring the process and methods of alternative learning. The University is all set to begin an Alternative School of its own kind probably first in India focusing on methods of learning and pursuing research on experiments being attempted in the arena of Alternative Learning. It will turn out to be a hub for Teachers-parents Training, Curriculum development and process of Learning for holding meaningful dialogues and conducting relevant experiments.
